The top layer was covered in a pretty pink fondant. I then created a diamond quilted look using a rolling fondant tool and a ruler. It gives it a tufted look to the tier. The little black clutch was made with the same black fondant as the zebra print, just shaped into the clutch. I rolled out white fondant into a rope shape and twisted one part to make the lock. I then sprayed the pieces with edible gold spray paint and once it was dried added it to the top of the clutch.
To finish the cake I added black ruffles between the two tiers by rolling out a thin piece of fondant and cutting it into a long ribbon. I then placed it on the cake allowing it to overlap itself to create the ruffle look.
Nothing left to do but place it on a fabulous black with crystal cake stand to show it off, before eating it!
