My Dad asked me to make a fun cake for a Barbeque he was going to with a bunch of his Harley buddies, so what other type of cake should I have made! It was a simple 8 inch cake covered in fondant and sprayed with edible silver spray. I traced the outline of the Harley-Davidson logo on black rolled fondant and placed on top of the cake using a paint brush a little vodka to make it stay in place. I then piped the lettering and the border with white and orange buttercream. To make the flames along the bottom I piped orange flames and filled in with yellow buttercream. I then smeared the two colors together with a damp paint brush. It took less than an hour to decorate and was a huge hit at his barbeque!
