Today is Independence Day and that means its time four our annual Fourth of July T-shirts! Every year we try to do something different; we've done tie-dye and fabric paint so this year we wanted to try Sharpies. We thought it would be fun to do and easy since we need them for tonight! Also, I'm almost five month's pregnant now and naps have become my new best friend.
We got regular white T-shirts or tanks and used red and blue Sharpies in two different tip sizes. I drew on several types of fireworks using different colors and pen sizes. I even drew a little heart firework over our baby boy. Amber added U.S.A. on the front of her and Aaron's shirts. The one things we didn't do was spray the shirts with rubbing alcohol to make the ink bleed a little. The shirts might have looked a little cooler if we did that, but with us needing them tonight we probably wouldn't have time to let them dry then wash them in time.
I can't wait to add a little oneies to the group next year!
