Baptism cakes are probably my second favorite cakes to make. My first being baby shower cakes. One celebrates a new life coming into the world and the other celebrates a new soul coming into the Church.
This cake was my first huge baptism cake, three tiers of girly elegance. The bottom tier was covered in baby pink fondant ruffles. The second tier was white with her name in the same pink fondant with white lace wrapped around the tier.
The top tier is my favorite with pink fondant with a white fondant banner wrapped around the cake. In the center was a gold cross surrounded by white little flowers with pearls in the center. Lastly, the cake was topped off with a beautiful white flower.
Such a beautiful cake to celebrate a beautiful day!
