A few years ago I got into knitting. I could never figure out the needles, but I loved working with the loom. It was so rhythmic and didn’t really need to think about what I was doing. It was a nice way to calm my mind and relax. For a Christmas gift for Amber, I got out my old loom and made her a scarf. Not just any scarf but one that looked like Harry Potter’s. I used maroon and golden rode yard and before I knew it I made an awesome scarf! She really loved it and now thinking about selling them in the Etsy Shop.

![]() I love a good tea party and it's even better when it's for a sweet friend's baby shower! Not only was she the guest of honor, but her little boy decided he wanted to come early so he was able to be there too! The simple two-tiered cake was covered in white fondant then wrapped with navy, baby blue and green banners. I added navy lace along the bottom of the tiers and added some matching colored flowers with pearl centers. To complete the cake a white teapot was placed on top. The body of the teapot was made from rice crispy treats, crushed firmly and rolled into a ball. I used my own white teapot as the model and covered the rice crispy ball with white fondant. I then attached the remaining part using sugar water and toothpicks. The cake came out so incredibly cute, but not as cute as her new little boy! I am so excited for my newest Repli-Kate Earrings! These handmade Repli-Kate earrings are inspired by the Annoushka Pearl drops and Kiki Diamond Hoop Earrings. I think these might be my favorite earrings Kate wears and she wears them all of the time. There are a lot of similar pairs of earrings out there, but these are the only ones where the pearls are removable so the hoops can be worn on their own. The earrings are 18k gold Platinum filled with Swarovski Crystals. The pearls are freshwater. They would look great on Christmas day or a simple dinner for two. Earrings are available now on my Etsy shop Oak Tree Junction for only $25!
