Customized Necklaces

It seems stamped jewelry has made a comeback again. For a few gifts this past Christmas I made personalized necklaces and bracelets with a phrase or word that reminded me of that person. I even gave on to Christy Wright during the Business Boutique VIP lunch and another when I got Rachel Cruz to sign her new book for me.

I decided to also make them available in my Etsy shop. You are able to choose the metal and chain color, the phrase or word, and even add a jewel or other pendant. These are one of a kind gift for anyone special in your life or even as a daily reminder for you!

New Kitchen Lights

1/23/2017

I’ve taken a break from cakes for the last few weeks because Jack has been busy in the kitchen! Not exactly cooking but installing new lights for me! The easiest light was just changing out our old light above the sink. The two harder ones involved some rewiring. He added a new light about our stove that matched the one above the sink. This alone made a huge difference in the kitchen, plus the new fixtures have a retro vibe.

The chandler about our kitchen table wasn’t full new wiring, but more of moving it a few inches over. I’m not kidding. It drove me nuts that the light wasn’t centered to the window so I asked Jack to move it over. I think he didn’t know if I was kidding at first or not. Well, I wasn’t and he moved it for me. It wasn’t too hard, just a pain. I love the new chandler; it reminds me of an atom. I’ve wanted an orb chandler for a long time and I am so happy we found one at a reasonable price!

It did a little something extra for me in the kitchen, but that’s another post…

New Harry Pottier Inspired Jewelry!

I am so excited about this new Harry Potter inspired jewelry line! The new line was inspired by Amber's love for Harry Potter and I wanted to make her something special for this past Christmas. I found the perfect gold bead that had fun swirls for the ball of the snitch. The wings come in different metal colors and all I had to do was drill an extra hole in the wing tips. The flying snitch comes in either a bracelet or necklace and there is also a necklace with the snitch's wings down. My head is already swimming with new Harry Potter inspired jewelry ideas that I can't wait to make!
